Betty (BNOREM@aol.com)
After his parents moved to Alabama, Frederick
stayed in Marion Co., SC until after the
1840 census was enumerated, then moved back to
Edgecombe Co., NC for awhile, but
was back in Marion Co. by the 1860 census. His
brother, Kinchen may have been living
with Frederick because I've found no census or
other records for him in either NC or SC.

Source Jo Church:
Frederick was enumerated among many people known
to reside in or near what is
now Kemper Community, on Hwy 41 between Lake View
& Fork in Dillon Co. This is
several miles from location of Thomas Robbins
on Buck Swamp. I could be wrong,
but believe records show that Frederick was a
son of Thomas. Also that Frederick's
wife was a Moody.
There is a large old two story home at Kemper
which my dad called the old Robbins
place. A tenant home for many years, it has been
empty for several years now and is
not well kept, but it is still a beautiful old
place.
